Strays Loves Us Rescue Program(SLURP) provides rescue, temporary housing, care and assistance to stray and unwanted dogs and cats. SLURP is a No Kill, volunteer-powered rescue. We believe every animal deserves a safe and loving home.......and we are doing our best to make it happen.

SLURP assists animals in Venango, Crawford, Warren and Forest County areas. We also use the TNR(trap, neuter and release) program for assistance with feral cat colonies and have been successful with decreasing reproduction therefore eliminating suffering of many cats in our area.

SLURP educates pet owners and the community on how to be an advocate for animals in need of help. In the near future, we would also like to implement a pet food bank to assist people that may be experiencing difficult times and not have access to the food their companion requires.

Our vision is that all animals in this area will have been spayed/neutered and have a forever home to call their own and that people will understand whats happening around them and be the voice for the voiceless.
